LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Learning

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-Month Position, Full-Time

START DATE: September 2026

SALARY RANGE: $80,000-$95,000 per year
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and oversight of all elements of a multi-tiered system of support framework.
  • Research and promote best practices in student centered instructional models, rigorous curriculum, and culturally responsive teaching.
  • Work collaboratively to develop integrated student systems of support.
  • Plan and deliver ongoing professional learning activities aligned to Monroe Ones Professional Development Plan.
  • In collaboration with the coordinator, provide leadership and supervision of instructional specialists in their various roles across programs and departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • NYS Certification as a School District Administrator (SDA) School District Leader (SDL) or School Administration & Supervision (SAS)
  • At least five years' experience as a teacher or related service provider.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative or instructional leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of all elements of the NYS Department of Education Regents Agenda.
  • Experience in standards-based curriculum design, assessment development, and grading/reporting practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and make appropriate decisions quickly.
  • Ability to foster strong collaborative relationships with and amongst team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technological skills.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License
  • Physically able to perform all duties required of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
