As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Area Manager who will be responsible for working with the Branch Manager/General Manager to ensure all contract deliverables are met. The Area Manager must be knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures as well as contract terms and deliverables. Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of services through subordinate team and fill in for the Branch Manager/General Manager in their absence.
  • Work with assigned personnel to ensure that all contractually scheduled hours are met with a minimum of unbilled overtime and non-billed hours.
  • Coach, counsel, and develop assigned personnel to assist with their opportunity for advancement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and employees.
  • Provide prompt response to problems and complaints.
  • Ensure post orders and related administrative documents are properly created, maintained, and updated in accordance with company requirements.
  • Maintain required company documentation.
  • Assist with new account start-ups, special projects, and extra coverage.
  • Ensure employees at all levels are trained in accordance with company standards, contract requirements, and licensing authority requirements. Conduct follow-up training as needed.
  • Conduct site inspections and conduct monthly after-hours and weekend site visits at intervals determined by the company.
  • Ensure proper use, and maintenance of relevant equipment used at job sites (keys/key cards, cell phones, radios, wands, etc.).
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of payroll.
  • Assist with security, safety, and other investigations.
  • Assist with the hiring process, including conducting interviews.
  • Issue uniform and equipment.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Management experience, and 3+ years of Security Operations experience are required.
  • Must be flexible as the position is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement supervisory experience preferred. A College degree may account for of the experience qualification.
  • Detail oriented
  • Internal candidates must have an exemplary performance and attendance record with NO disciplinary action within a year of applying for this position.
  • Exceptional customer service, written and oral communication skills. Good presentation skills are preferred.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and be able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs

Physical requirements

  • The position requires work both inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, and some lifting.
