Insightful Futures Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Austin, Texas. Counselors will engage with clients virtually, leveraging technology to deliver effective therapeutic interventions from the comfort of their own homes while also having the support of our outpatient office when needed. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to support individuals, couples, and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care, engaging with other healthcare professionals as necessary for optimal treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring that all client records are up-to-date.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices in mental health care.

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our focus is on providing services to those with limited access to care, ensuring they receive the support needed to overcome obstacles such as trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Your role will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve long-lasting improvements in their emotional well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is essential.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is required.
• Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team is crucial for integrated client care.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies is important for efficient service delivery.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques and adaptability in applying them to meet individual client needs is desirable.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 to 90,000 yearly, dependent on your experience and caseload. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance, alongside malpractice insurance coverage. Counselors can expect to receive client referrals and assistance with billing and documentation, reducing administrative burdens and allowing more focus on client care.
