Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, tailoring individualized therapy strategies that promote effective treatment outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual therapy, group sessions, couples counseling, and family therapy.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address clients’ unique challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care and holistic health approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client information remains secure and accessible only to authorized personnel.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on the best practices and recent findings in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mindfully Life Counseling Center, you will work primarily with clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our focus is on serving individuals and families within the community who may find it challenging to access traditional mental health care. Your compassionate and knowledgeable approach will be vital in providing the support they need to navigate their challenges.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• An active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is essential for success in this role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is expected.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team is crucial for delivering integrated care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies to facilitate effective documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
