Description:

Operational Leadership

  • Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house catering operations within a high-volume corporate cafeteria environment.
  • Oversee catering logistics, event scheduling, setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages.
  • Manage catering calendars, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to support multiple events and prevent scheduling conflicts.

Client & Event Management

  • Coordinate catering events from initial request through execution, ensuring all client requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and effective communication.
  • Monitor event performance and gather feedback to identify opportunities for service enhancements and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of service areas and event setups to maintain quality and presentation standards.
  • Partner with culinary and operations teams to consistently meet or exceed client expectations and company service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to catering operations and compliance requirements.

Requirements:Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of hospitality experience, preferably in a corporate or institutional environment.
  • Demonstrated success planning and executing events of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • ServSafe Food Safety and Allergen certifications, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
  • Willingness to travel and support catering events at other company locations as needed.
