Construction Project Manager – Lead Luxury Custom Home Construction


Job Overview:

The Opportunity

You will serve as the primary owner and strategic leader of luxury custom residential projects from pre-construction through turnover. This role gives you full accountability to guide project finances, schedules, and trade execution while delivering high-end homes for a respected custom builder. You will work alongside a supportive field team that values integrity, accountability, and your professional development.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Manage active luxury residential projects from pre-construction planning through final punch list and turnover.
  • Coordinate two-week look-ahead schedules alongside field Superintendents to prevent delays and maintain momentum.
  • Direct project buyout, negotiate trade change orders, and prepare detailed subcontractor purchase orders.
  • Track project financials, generate monthly client progress billings, and deliver regular financial forecasts.
  • Oversee submittals, client selections, RFIs, and municipal permitting processes using Procore management software.
  • Partner with field Superintendents daily to ensure jobsites remain safe, organized, clean, and on schedule.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, architects, interior designers, and subcontractors.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing custom residential construction projects or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, schedules, and budgets.
  • Proficiency using modern construction management software like Procore alongside scheduling tools.
  • Strong leadership skills to negotiate with subcontractors and hold trade partners accountable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface directly with luxury clients and designers.



Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing ground-up custom residential builds ranging from $7M to $20M+.
  • Deep understanding of local South Florida building codes, coastal permitting, and inspection processes.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing
