Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / General Manager
Position Overview
ABAE Hotel by Eskape Collection is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Housekeeper to join our boutique hospitality team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the elevated cleanliness standards, aesthetic presentation, and overall guest experience that define our brand.
The ideal candidate demonstrates efficiency, discretion, consistency in execution, and a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning & Presentation
  • Clean and service guest rooms, suites, balconies, and bathrooms according to hotel brand standards.
  • Ensure all rooms meet ABAE’s quality inspection benchmarks before release.
  • Make beds, replace linens, towels, and bathroom amenities.
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces following health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain and restock in-room kitchenettes, including appliances and dishware.
  • Inspect washers/dryers in units to ensure cleanliness and functionality.

Public Area Maintenance
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness in hallways, elevators, stairwells, and designated common areas as assigned.
  • Support rooftop or lobby presentation when required.

Quality Control
  • Report maintenance issues immediately (HVAC, plumbing, appliances, lighting, etc.).
  • Identify and report damages, missing items, or lost and found articles.
  • Follow daily checklists and room assignment boards accurately.

Inventory & Supplies
  • Maintain housekeeping carts in organized and sanitary condition.
  • Monitor supply levels and notify supervisor when restocking is required.
  • Handle linens according to proper laundry and handling procedures.

Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Understanding of boutique or extended-stay property standards is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints without compromising quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic English communication skills required; other languages like Spanish are a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain standing for extended periods.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays and flexible schedules
