Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

Do you enjoy evaluating the details and creating detailed drawings? As a CAD Drafter/Programer at NFM, you will be responsible for drafting and making corrections to new and existing stone countertop projects.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Collaborate: Work with measure agents to achieve accurate layout of projects
  • Create: Prepare project layouts using design tools and CAD software
  • Produce: Generate CNC programs from the CAD software
  • Test: Troubleshoot design related issues and monitor, document, and control any changes made to programs
  • Communicate: Coordinate with install and support staff ensure timely fulfillment of projects
  • Support: Track and update status of projects

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 3 or more years of Auto CAD experience required
  • Proficient in Slabsmith, Alpha Cam or similar software
  • Computer skills and ability to navigate through MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, Lift test, Respirator Fit, Chest X-Ray and Criminal Background check
