Agency Sales Agent

Job Description

Responsibilities

Qualifying and quoting prospects, selling memberships, cross selling life and personal lines insurance products. Following up with members and insureds and prospecting for new business. Resolving membership and insurance problems using discretion and independent judgment. Multi - tasking and identifying cross -selling opportunities.

Performance

Working some evenings, weekends and holidays. Prior insurance industry experience is required, brokerage experience is a plus. Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals.

Job requirements include:

  • Proactively source, develop, and convert outbound leads

  • Prospect and consistently build your sales pipeline through follow-up and outbound calls

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving policy retention

  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and written correspondence

  • Take full ownership of your book of business

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience strongly preferred (outbound sales a plus)

  • Active Personal Lines or P&C insurance license required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Life insurance license

  • Strong computer skills and excellent organizational abilities

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

  • Ability to successfully complete background, credit, and drug screenings

Our sales agents start at an hourly rate of $28.85. After completion of the training program, our full-time sales agents successfully meeting sales goals earn on average between $85,000-$110, 000 annually. Commissioned opportunities are uncapped when exceeding sales goals.
