RN - Emergency Department (ER/ED)

Shift: 19:00-07:00

Description: DCH-Travel:EDRN Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. Our Emergency Departments offer comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups and staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. Our ED team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. Our Regional Medical Center Emergency Department is a 54-bed state designated Level III Trauma Center as well as a Level II Stroke Center. The Regional Medical Center ED treats more than 60,000 patients per year. Our Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with our critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients.

Education-Required: Associated degree in nursing

Certifications Required: AHA ACLS, AH BLS, AH PALS, NIH OR RED CROSS Certifications Required: TNCC

Licenses Required: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)

Experience-Required: 2 years; working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 2 years of experience in the field of specialty.

Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy
