Job description

Job Specifics:
  • Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
  • FTE Status: 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week), Part-Time
  • Work Schedule: Schedule will include a split of day and overnight shifts; a typical schedule will include two weeks of day shifts, followed by two weeks of overnight shifts. Weekend rotations will adhere to a modified block schedule based on availability, with shifts occurring every other weekend, or every third weekend.
  • Unit Description: Our ICU a 22-bed unit that provides the highest level of care to a wide variety of patients with the best nurse/patient ratios. Staffing decisions are made with the inclusion of the frontline team on safe and appropriate care. The highest acuity patients will receive 1:1 nurse/patient ratios and moderate acuity is a 1:2 nurse/patient ratio. There is a high level of patients with a multitude of diagnosis from respiratory and cardiac conditions to multi organ system failure and post op-surgical recoveries.

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures.
  • The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.
Qualifications:
  • Wisconsin RN license required.
  • Previous RN experience required.
