Your future role at a glance

Location: Remote

Facility: Remote

Department: Revenue Cycle Management 

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift 

Salary Range: $31.35/hr - $42.40/hr 

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Apply knowledge of adult learning principles to teach various types of learning content.
  • Work collaboratively with management and subject matter experts to understand desired performance, assess learning needs, and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Monitor course participants' progress throughout assigned courses. Conducts post-training evaluations and analyze results.
  • Update curricula and explore new materials for program participants
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentialed from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred.
  • Reg Health Info Admnstr credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.
  • Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • 40 hours a week | M-F | Hours between 6 AM - 6 PM Central Time Zone (bulk of work between clinic hours of 8 am - 5 pm) | No weekends or major holidays 
  • CPC or CCS-P required with 3-5 years of direct coding experience. Will consider RHIA or RHIT with direct coding experience of 5+ years. 1-2 years of E/M (evaluation and management) auditing as well as strong knowledge of procedural coding highly desired
