Job description

Description:INCUMBENTS ONLYLocations: Altus AFB
  • Manages C-17 CLS operations and assigned personnel.
  • Coordinates personnel, schedules, resources, and CLS activities to meet contract requirements.
  • Assigns work and monitors quality, cost, schedule, and progress.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with government representatives, customers, and the Prime Contractor Management Team.
  • Ensures required documentation, reports, and contract deliverables are completed.
  • Coordinates with department managers to ensure adequate personnel and resources are available.
  • Supports CLS quality assurance, security, and information assurance requirements.
  • Attends required program meetings and provides status updates.
  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must currently be sitting in the position to be considered for this role.
  • Candidate must currently be performing the duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7 years of recent management experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Previous experience in aviation, simulator maintenance, field service, maintenance, or logistics management is preferred.
  • C-17 experience and knowledge of military or defense operations is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be capable of working effectively in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
  • Must be willing to work any shift, including one weekend per month as required.
  • Candidate must meet all applicable position, program, and site requirements.
