If you are reliable, want to work for a great, growing company who is focused on customer service, all while working with a great team, this might be the opportunity for you!  If you meet the requirements listed below apply with us.  This position would be great for the person who wants some income but still wants their nights and weekends free.  Saturdays would be required after competency level has been achieved.  Hours on Saturday are only 8:45am-12:15pm.  Our weekday hours are 8:45am-5:15pm.  This position would only work 20 hours per week during our open times.

Position Purpose:

Serves as a representative of Cornerstone Credit Union to assist our members with their financial needs. Responsible for providing services to members in a courteous and professional manner while providing prompt, efficient and accurate member service. Cross-sell offers that may help the financial status, loan, or other finances for the benefit of our members.  Maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union philosophies and policies.

Essential Functions:

  1. Independently maintain and balance assigned cash drawer.
  2. Perform routine member transactions accurately including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check disbursements, general ledger postings, dead end checks, money orders and general functions.
  3. Have a working knowledge of Fiserv and general equipment needed to perform daily work.
  4. Maintain over/short practice, cash drawer limits.
  5. Follow BSA guidelines for CTR and SAR.
  6. Follow check negotiation practices.
  7.  Ability to handle problem resolutions using independent judgment to ensure member satisfaction, and to know when to transfer the member to an appropriate CCU employee for resolution.
  8. Demonstrate proficiency in cross selling services offered by CCU.
  9. Understand and follow applicable CCU policies and standard operating procedures.
  10. Remain aware of, understand and comply with regulatory and compliance issues for deposit accounts.
  11. Greet and sign in members/visitors.
  12. Responsible for the upkeep and professional look of the lobby.
  13. Control the flow of member traffic to available Financial Service Representatives.
  14. Encode and re-pin Debit card.
  15. Sort & distribute mail.
  16. Respond to inquiries made by members in person in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
  17. Changing and handling the coin bags in the coin machine and perform simple maintenance.
  18. Process mail and night drops.
  19. Knowledgeable about the credit union with the ability to answer basic questions. 
  20. Understand credit union policy and standard procedures which relate to the MSR department.
