Job description

The Cash Office Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate cash handling and financial recordkeeping for the resort. This role supports banking operations, assists employees with cash needs, maintains the cash machine, and provides support to the accounting office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process cash payments, make change, balance daily receipts, and reconcile the vault
  • Monitor cash machine funds, assist with setup and employee training, and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Identify and resolve cash discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare deposits, handle change orders, manage ATM funds, and assist with weekly deposits
  • Maintain accurate transaction records, prepare reports, and assist with audits; sort and organize credit card and room charge receipts
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and audit requirements
  • Assist with accounting office tasks, daily reconciliations, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant degree or 1-2 years of related experience preferred
  • Strong ability to perform calculations and manage financial transactions
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software
  • Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Able to remain focused in an office environment for extended periods of time, often for the full shift
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
