Job description

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Child Protection team at Devon.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. 
  • Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. 
  • Undertake statutory visits and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records. 
  • Intervene in crisis situations to ensure the immediate safety of children. 
  • Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings. 
  • Work closely with families to promote positive change and improve outcomes for children. 
  • Liaise with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies to coordinate support. 
  • Provide written reports and evidence for legal proceedings when required. 
  • Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure progress and compliance with care plans. 
  • Advocate for the rights and welfare of children and young people. 

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
