Job description

Pediatric Cardiologist Specializing in Echocardiography and Cross-Sectional Imaging

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in echocardiography, cardiac MRI (CMR), and cardiac CT (CCT) to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine. The division performs over 18,000 echocardiograms annually, 1,400 fetal echoes, 350 cardiac MRIs, and 400 CT angiograms.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care, including rotating coverage of the echo lab, night and weekend call for transesophageal echocardiograms and complex transthoracic studies, and rotating coverage of CMR and CCT services.
  • Participate in general cardiology outpatient clinic, inpatient service, and outreach clinic visits.
  • Engage in educational activities, program development, academic work, research, administration, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to general cardiology night and weekend call rotations with division members.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology with focused 4th‑year training.
  • Experience and proficiency in echocardiography, CMR (Level 3 training expected), and CCT (Level 2 with option to pursue Level 3).
  • Ability to receive faculty appointment on a clinical or tenure track based on experience.
