Job description

Locum | Physician – Urology

We are seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Urologist for inpatient locum coverage in Paducah, KY. This opportunity is to provide call coverage relief for the employed physician.

Coverage needed 2–3 weekends per month (Thursday or Friday AM – Monday AM).

The incoming physician will:

  • Be on call for urology services
  • Take consults
  • Round on urology service patients
  • Perform necessary procedures and surgeries

The employed physician does not currently perform robotic procedures; however, the facility has 3 robotic systems available and can accommodate a urologist with robotic skills if needed.

Required procedures include general urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, ureteroscopy, and laser certification.

Credentialing estimated timeframe is 90 days with temporary privileges available.

Candidate requirements include Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible – REQUIRED, Kentucky License – Preferred (IMLC accepted), BLS & ACLS Certified – REQUIRED, flu shot – REQUIRED, COVID vaccination – Highly Preferred, NPDB self-query report (dated within 30 days of presentation) – REQUIRED.
