Job description

Broadway Tent & Event is a leading provider of event rental solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for our clients. As an Event Rentals Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery, setup, and breakdown of event equipment at various locations. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and are passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Safely load, transport, and unload event rental items such as tables, chairs, tents, stages, dance floors, and lighting at client locations.
  • Set up and break down rental equipment at event sites, ensuring all items are arranged according to client specifications and company standards.
  • Operate a box truck in a safe and responsible manner; driving is a secondary responsibility to on-site labor and supervision.
  • Supervise and direct jobsite labor teams to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns on-site.
  • Assist with order fulfillment and equipment testing to maintain high quality standards.
  • Uphold all company safety standards and follow appropriate safety procedures at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • At least 1 year of experience driving a box truck preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50–80 lbs. comfortably.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand and be physically active for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Availability for some night and weekend work as required.
