PIANO TEACHER POSITIONS AT ESTABLISHED MUSIC SCHOOL
Veksler Academy of Music & Dance is a highly-regarded, well-established music and dance school with campuses in Sunnyvale and Milpitas with over 11,000 square foot of state-of-art facilities, which offers music lessons to residents of South Bay Area for the last 18 years. Thousands of students have taken lessons at Veksler Academy.
Our full-time school administrators will take care of all clerical, financial and scheduling tasks.
ELIGIBILITY:
We are currently hiring piano teachers who meet the following qualifications:
  • A degree in piano performance
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience - private lessons to children from ages 4 and adults
  • Strong communication skills, warm and non-conflicting personality.
  • Authorized to work long-term in the USA, with supporting documentation.
  • Live in SF Bay Area
  • Commit to this job for at least 2 years
We are seeking piano teachers who are passionate about music, are well-educated, and have the ability to work with young children very effectively.
WORKING HOURS:
Mon-Fri 3pm-9pm, Sat 9am-4pm.
BENEFITS: Sick pay, 401K Retirement Investment Matching Program, yearly 5-10% rasie based on performance. bonuses for student prepartion for tests and recitals, flexibale schedule with 7 weeks of school breaks (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, Summer Break).
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY: Every teacher has the opportunity to perform at our bi-annual recitals at Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara University, Annual Staff Recital, and Carnegie Hall Honor Recital. Teachers are not required to perform, but have this opportunity.
SUPPORT: We provide support related to teaching, handling difficult situations, overcoming stress, preparation for tests/recitals, and overall help with reaching meaningful and happy teaching.
