NIMA Spa Floor Instructor

Full-Time/Part-Time| Growth Opportunity into Teaching Role

NIMA is expanding our team of talented, well-rounded instructors. This role begins as a Spa Floor Instructor with the opportunity to grow into a classroom teaching position. Strong presentation skills - or a willingness to develop them - are essential.

We are looking for instructors who are:

Some evenings and weekends are required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee all student treatments on the spa clinic floor (laser setting checks, chemical peel supervision, safety oversight, etc.)
  • Ensure strict adherence to protocols and state board requirements
  • Assist students in performing thorough consultations and delivering safe, effective treatments
  • Guide students in professional communication and client experience
  • Support and coach students in product knowledge and retail sales performance
  • Work closely with the front desk to maintain efficient appointment flow, charting accuracy, and client satisfaction
  • Maintain a calm, confident presence while managing multiple students and situations
  • Document student performance and hold students accountable to NIMA standards
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture among instructors and students

Requirements for Success

  • Current Utah Master Esthetician License
  • Minimum 1 year of well-rounded esthetics experience
  • Professional presence and ability to manage adult learners
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a goal-driven environment
  • Ability to multitask and operate efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Adaptability in a growing and evolving organization
  • Desire to grow into a classroom teaching role

Helpful but Not Required

  • Experience with lasers from multiple manufacturers
  • Knowledge of cosmetic laser physics
  • Utah State Esthetics Instructor License
    (If pursuing the teaching track, this will eventually be required after hours are met.)
