OT/Weekend Work: Will be opportunity for OT but not mandated
Interview: Teams based interview, approx 1 hr, at least 2 managers and a lead conducting interview
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance, PL1 access
TRAINING:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment OJT or formal classroom training
PL1 Access:
This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.

Job Description: The GFE Production Engineering team is hiring an Experienced Electrical Manufacturing Planner to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports.
Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues.
Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years manufacturing planning experience with electrical systems
Experience with GOLD
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Boeing experience preferred
Physical requirements:
Work in a factory environment and able to withstand those conditions (walking, going up and down steps and scaffolding)
Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request
Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.G. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.G. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
