Join Our Team as an IT Generalist!

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly? We’re a pioneering biohacking company breaking into new markets both vertically and horizontally, and we’re looking for an IT Generalist to join our growing team. If you thrive in dynamic environments and have a knack for managing diverse IT needs, this is your chance to make a real impact in an innovative industry.

What You’ll Do

As our IT Generalist, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. From troubleshooting day-to-day issues to implementing long-term solutions, you’ll ensure our technology supports our mission to innovate. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Systems & Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points while monitoring network performance.
  • End-User Support: Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 technical support for both local and remote employees, covering hardware, software, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and peripherals.
  • Identity & Access Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, including endpoint protection, patch management, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee daily backup operations and ensure the integrity and availability of critical business data.
  • Asset Management: Keep accurate records of hardware, software, and IT assets, and manage equipment procurement and decommissioning.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for network topology, system configurations, SOPs, and user guides.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate with a strong technical foundation and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience: 3–5 years in IT support, systems administration, or network administration.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with cloud ecosystems like Microsoft 365, Azure AD, or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, excellent time management, and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 40 lbs), such as servers and workstations.
  • Willingness to work occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance windows for major upgrades.
Why Join Us?

At our company, we’re not just innovating in the biohacking space; we’re creating a culture of growth, collaboration, and forward-thinking. You’ll be part of a team that values resourcefulness, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. If you’re looking for a role where your technical expertise will be valued and your contributions will directly impact our success, we’d love to hear from you.
