Job Description

BrightStar Care of Sterling Heights is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Manager. This leadership role oversees clinical operations, ensures high-quality patient care, and supports both skilled and non-skilled home care services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with home care, home health, or private duty experience who is ready to step into a leadership role. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in IV therapy, PICC line care, and high-acuity patients

Responsibilities
  • Perform client assessments, reassessments, and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise and support nurses and caregivers in the field
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan regulations and agency standards
  • Oversee skilled nursing services, including:
  • Medication administration
  • Wound care
  • IV therapy and PICC line. port, experience
  • Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and referral sources
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of clinical staff
  • Address client concerns and ensure high-quality care delivery
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in Michigan (required)
  • 2+ years of nursing experience (home care/home health preferred)
  • Experience with IV therapy and PICC line care strongly preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with EMR/documentation systems

Preferred Experience
  • Private duty home care
  • Skilled home care services
  • IV infusions, PICC lines, ports, or central line care
  • Workers’ compensation or auto injury cases
