What you'll do as a CNA:

  • Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team
  • Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
  • Assists with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasks
  • Promptly answer residents' calls for assistance and provide compassionate care that is in alignment with their specific care plan
  • Chart resident interactions throughout the shift and communicate efficiently with the members of your team
  • Ensures that resident's rights are adhered to

What you'll need as a CNA:

  • Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
  • Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
  • Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred, but not required.
