Job description

Children’s Art Classes is excited to expand into the Eden Prairie, MN area! We are seeking a passionate, experienced Art Instructor to join our growing team and inspire young artists in a structured, engaging classroom environment.

This is a unique opportunity for an educator who enjoys teaching without the added demands of traditional classroom responsibilities — no lesson planning from scratch, and small, focused class sizes.

Position Details:

  • Consistent weekly schedule:
  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week
  • Classes capped at 12 students
  • Curriculum and all materials provided

Compensation:

  • Salaried position
  • Additional pay opportunities:
    • Birthday parties & special events
    • Annual incentive bonus available

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured, high-quality art instruction
  • Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively
  • Prepare materials and ensure smooth class transitions
  • Parent/teacher/potential parent communication

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of teaching or instructional experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Highly organized and reliable
