Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Art teachers for Grades 3-12 for weekday afternoons and weekends at our Clark, NJ school location. Must know Blender.

During the School year our classes typically start at 3:30pm so it is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Digital teachers need to be experts in the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac: Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects and Procreate. Blender 3D is essential.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience teaching digital art or digital design classes (Anime and Manga style a preference)
  • BFA or BS Art Education
  • Blender, Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop, Procreate, After Effects
  • Thoughtful communication skills
  • A passion for One River School's mission
  • Must live within easy commutable distance from work site location

You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary digital art classes. Our students are in grades 3-12 from beginner to advanced level. Our students are motivated and hardworking. Our class sizes are small and there is no prep needed outside of the classroom. You will deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm and tailor instruction to suit individual students' needs.
