Seasonal Warehouse Associate - Area51 Fireworks

Area51 Fireworks is making its final push towards July the 4th! We are seeking Warehouse Associates to support operations by managing shipping and receiving, loading, and unloading inventory and organizing it at Area51 Fireworks warehouse and other locations. Warehouse Associates will interact with customers, and it is critical they do everything possible to make the customerโ€™s โ€œloading experienceโ€ efficient, satisfying, and timely.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks/shipping containers, and verifying inventory.
  • Operate equipment such as Forklifts, Golf Carts, and Pallet Jacks in accordance with company policy and under the direction of Supervisors and Managers.
  • Sort and place inventory from containers/trucks onto pallets and storing them in their proper locations within the warehouse.
  • Verify orders with customers for accuracy and assist customers with loading products inside their vehicles.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Assist with physical inventory count(s).
  • Unload shipping containers and trucks, move inventory into and out of the warehouse and stores and within the main warehouse.
  • General cleaning and maintenance to ensure the warehouse and surrounding grounds are kept clean and free of garbage and debris.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, containers, pallet area, and workstations neat, swept, and clean.
  • Assist with other cleaning duties as assigned (restrooms, warehouse grounds, showroom, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent (GED) preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 10 preferred but not required.
  • Forklift Certified preferred but not required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with customers.
  • Availability on work nights, weekends, holidays, Entire Season

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work within a warehouse and various climate conditions as needed.
  • Regularly required to use hands to touch, handle or feel boxes and inventory, reach with hands and arms, and talk/hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10lbs-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75lbs.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, climb, and walk during work hours.
  • Ability to participate in team lifts as needed.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, bend, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Work to maintain a safe work environment, noting any potential issues and reporting to management.
