Description

Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and create insightful reports, dashboards, and data solutions that drive business value.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Transform data into easily understandable visualizations and reports that enable informed decision-making and actionable insights.
  • Source, profile, cleanse, transform, and prepare data from multiple enterprise systems using Alteryx, Tableau Prep, and similar data preparation tools to create high-quality, analytics-ready datasets.
  • Develop and maintain automated data preparation and transformation workflows to improve data quality, consistency, and efficiency across reporting and analytics processes, with a strong emphasis on Alteryx.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain advanced BI dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all business intelligence activities.
  • Document BI processes, methodologies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Comfortable owning projects end-to-end, including communicating project status to business leaders and demonstrating business value upon completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, clarify, and document business requirements while serving as a trusted partner to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to take initiative and proactively establish partnerships throughout the organization.
  • Ability to quickly learn the business, identify high-value opportunities, and navigate complex data environments.
  • Experience supporting both technical, data-driven initiatives and business-facing reporting and dashboarding solutions.
  • Ability to navigate enterprise environments, including obtaining and managing appropriate access to systems, tools, and data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building credibility and trust with stakeholders, particularly when supporting partners with deep business domain expertise.
  • Experience working within a growth-oriented or evolving team environment and contributing to new capabilities and processes.
  • Interest in expanding both technical and business acumen, with the ability to grow within the role.
  • Strong ability to communicate insights, recommendations, and outcomes in a way that clearly demonstrates business impact and value.
Additional Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar data preparation and ETL tools for sourcing, cleansing, transforming, and organizing data for analytics and reporting purposes.
Education, Certifications, and/or Other Professional Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in a quantitative, analytical, or technology-related discipline.
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications or training in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data visualization tools.
Hours & Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • No weekend hours required.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
