POSITION PURPOSE
Oversees the operational activities for assigned stations to ensure an efficient and safe operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Provide leadership and technical support to business partners and airport authorities for flights operated by the Company.
  • Provide training on Company procedures.
  • Perform on-site auditing of business partners to evaluate compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure business partners follow Republic Airways Carrier procedures for handling of aircraft.
  • Provides support to the Airport Operations Regional Managers and Airport Operations Training Departments.
  • Assist with irregular operations and emergency response coordination when necessary.
  • Assist with TSA and FAA Inspections.
  • Communicate with various Internal Departments on business partner and airport changes to policies, procedures and personnel.
  • Update SOC with real time information affecting the operation at airports within the assigned region.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) that pertain to the function
  • Follow daily Delay Reporting protocol.
  • Conduct periodic airport site visits with Airport Operations Partners in assigned regions.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and conduct in-depth compliance audits.
  • Record, track and assign risk to compliance failures.
  • Ensure corrective actions are acceptable and implemented.
  • Provide support to all internal operational departments as requested by the Regional Manager and Senior Manager.
  • Communicate all mainline partner's changes to policies, procedures, and personnel to the appropriate internal departments.
  • Maintain currency with all assigned monthly, quarterly and annual Airport Operations-related Company and Partner Airline Training
  • Assist with TSA and FAA inspections and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Requires 3 years of experience in an airline industry or customer service role.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Prefer at least 5 years of experience in airline industry or customer service role.
  • Previous supervisory experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and governmental regulations. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
DECISION MAKING
Makes day-to-day decisions used to support strategic direction. Decisions often require some thought and are somewhat structured. Decisions tend to be short term and usually moderate cost.
