Job description

Ready to use your Spanish and English skills to make a meaningful difference for children and families?

One Step Forward is hiring a Spanish speaking Behavior Technician to provide one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism throughout Newark and surrounding Essex County communities.

This is a part time after-school position offering consistent weekday afternoon and evening hours. You'll work closely with experienced BCBAs while supporting Spanish speaking families through individualized ABA services, helping children build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

What You'll Do
  • Provide one on one ABA therapy in clients' homes

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA

  • Support communication, behavior, play, social, and daily living skill development

  • Utilize evidence based ABA strategies during every session

  • Collect data and complete electronic session documentation

  • Communicate with caregivers in both Spanish and English

  • Collaborate regularly with your supervising BCBA regarding client progress
