This physician-led nonprofit hospital is the areas largest private employer and Maines third largest healthcare system, serving 65,000 area residents. This is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.You will have a convenient weekday schedule with built in admin time every day. Join a collaborative team with 3 physicians, 4 nurse practitioners and a psychologist, plus RNs and MAs all enthusiastic about evidence-based occupational medicine in this fast-paced outpatient setting. You will occasionally cover the inpatient rehabilitation unit too. Call is shared across a large group, and only comes around once/month.In this role, you will treat the whole person, not just the area of pain/injury. You will have plenty of time to hear from your patients, and to answer their questions. Careful management of controlled substances is a priority.
