What you will do:

The Therapy Clinical Line Lead is the clinical leader for Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), and Developmental Therapy (DT) at Pediatrics Plus. They carry accountability for the clinical quality, compliance, strategic direction, and cultural integrity of therapy programming across all Pediatrics Plus sites. The Therapy Clinical Line Lead clinically oversees a team of Directors of Therapy Services. They partner across clinical lines, operations, finance, and executive leadership to ensure that Pediatrics Plus delivers exceptional, evidence-based, and scalable therapy programming in alignment with the organization's mission, values, and growth trajectory.

  • Lead by example and ensure the Pediatrics Plus culture, mission, and core values are reinforced across all therapy programming, decision-making, and team interactions at every level of the organization.
  • Provide enterprise-level leadership and strategic direction for all OT, PT, and SLP services across all Pediatrics Plus sites.
  • Clinically lead and develop site-level Directors of Therapy Services, fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented leadership team.
  • Clinically lead and develop Developmental Evaluators that serve Pediatrics Plus.
  • Lead and oversee the Therapy Now Coordinator and strategize for growth and development of the Therapy Now program as part of Pediatrics Plus.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning for all Director-level therapy roles.
  • Uphold and model the leadership principles and management philosophy of Pediatrics Plus in all interactions and decisions.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategic vision for OT, PT, and SLP programming that aligns with Pediatrics Plus's organizational goals, expansion plans, and commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Anticipate and plan proactively for needed changes based on trends, regulatory shifts, evidence-based research, and data analytics across all three therapy disciplines.
  • Coordinate and execute therapy-based initiatives designed for the overall betterment of service provision across Pediatrics Plus.
  • Lead therapy programming expansion as new sites and states are onboarded, providing clinical infrastructure, leadership, and discipline-specific guidance in partnership with the Senior VP and forward/integration teams.
  • Collaborate with Senior VP, VP roles, and the forward team to initiate and complete the transition of new sites and programs into the therapy operational structure.
  • Research and report on emerging evidence-based practices, enhancements, and new programs available to families served across OT, PT, and SLP, and evaluates their integration into the Pediatrics Plus model.
  • Hold full budget ownership for the therapy clinical line - encompassing OT, PT, and SLP - and budget forecasting.
  • Make and evaluate decisions with a clear understanding of their financial impact on the therapy line and the broader organization.
  • Partner with finance and operations to develop annual budgets.
  • Oversee and ensure the clinical quality, fidelity, and outcomes of OT, PT, and SLP programming across all sites through systems of quality assurance, site visits, individual coaching, and Director-led feedback loops.
  • Monitor therapy programming for best practices and measurable outcomes, ensuring that supervision and service delivery meet discipline-specific professional standards and state licensure requirements.
  • Monitor all practices and record-keeping, confirming compliance with state requirements, professional standards, and payor guidelines across OT, PT, and SLP operations.
  • Lead organizational accreditation readiness and maintenance for therapy services, including audit preparedness and ongoing internal and external evaluations.
  • Review outsourced and contracted therapy assessments and services to ensure that funding guidelines and clinical quality standards are met.
  • Maintain and advance quality assurance measures as established by Pediatrics Plus administration.
  • Collaborate with Senior VP and peer Clinical Line Leads - including the ABA Clinical Line Lead - to build a unified operational structure across all clinical lines that honors and values each team member.
  • Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to ensure therapy service delivery is structurally sound, scalable, and aligned with organizational systems.
  • Collaborate with VP roles, team members, and the deTASO liaison to update, develop, and modify therapy-related components of deTASO as needed for optimal tracking, visibility, and operational functioning.
  • Lead and collaborate with site-level Directors of Therapy Services for implementation of training, programming, and site-specific needs across OT, PT, and SLP.
  • Communicate overall therapy program quality, culture, financial performance, and operational needs and successes to the SVP of Clinical Lines on a regular basis.
  • Problem solve and critically assess opportunities to improve quality, processes, and structure across therapy disciplines, and communicates findings and recommendations to the Senior VP.
  • Assist with marketing events and initiatives as needed and/or requested.
  • Attend required planning, leadership, and team meetings as directed by the Senior VP.
  • Provide continued development of therapy structure at the company and site level, including Director roles and expectations, clinical mentoring programs, scheduling models, and other areas as needed across OT, PT, and SLP.
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction of training modules and professional development programming related to therapy services across the organization.
  • Support continuing education programming for OT, PT, and SLP staff, including planning, coordination, and delivery in partnership with discipline-specific Directors.
  • Demonstrate continued personal growth in clinical, leadership, and strategic skills through ongoing learning and application.
  • Respond constructively to feedback concerning job performance and models a growth mindset for all direct reports.
  • Participate in annual performance reviews for continued professional development and growth.
  • Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with the Senior VP of Clinical Lines.
  • Assist and support executive leadership during company-wide initiatives.
  • Communicate any needs, concerns, or proactive recommendations to the SVP of Clinical Lines.

Requirements:

  • Required
    • Active licensure in good standing in relevant therapy discipline(s).
    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy services.
    • Proven ability to lead clinical quality assurance, compliance, and accreditation efforts at an organizational level.
    • Experience supervising or mentoring fieldwork students.
  • Preferred
    • Demonstrated experience managing Director-level staff and developing clinical leadership teams across multiple therapy disciplines.
    • 10+ years of pediatric therapy clinical and leadership experience.
    • Experience leading programming across multiple therapy disciplines (OT, PT, and/or SLP) simultaneously.
    • Experience leading therapy programming across multiple states or regions.
    • Experience with deTASO or comparable clinical data and operations platforms.
    • Background in organizational development, strategic planning, or program expansion.
