Empowerment Pathways Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. The position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to provide valuable mental health services from the comfort of your home while still engaging with our collaborative team. Our clinic utilizes modern technology, including electronic medical records (EMRs), to facilitate efficient communication, documentation, and collaboration among team members.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions through diagnostic interviews and clinical assessments to inform individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address the specific mental health needs of your clients, adjusting strategies as necessary based on progress and feedback.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or solution-focused therapy.
• Lead group therapy sessions or family therapy to support collective healing and foster social connections among participants.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans in collaboration with clients to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to best practices.
• Thoroughly document all client interactions, therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including training workshops and webinars, to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health counseling techniques and industry standards.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and create a safe space for healing will be pivotal in assisting them on their journey toward better mental health.

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• A valid state license (LMHC) to practice as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in the field of mental health counseling, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques and client care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and proficiency in utilizing technology in the counseling process.

• Experience in a community health setting or working with a diverse client population is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and an eagerness to integrate new techniques into your practice.
• Demonstrated ability to lead group therapy sessions and facilitate discussions among participants.
