Field Support Representative

Location: Washington, DC Type: Contract Compensation: $33.39 per hour Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: 40.0 hours per week We are seeking a Field Support Representative to assist with health benefits education and outreach during the annual Open Season enrollment period. In this role, you will support Account Consultants at health fairs, retirement seminars, community events, and virtual sessions by helping federal employees, retirees, and eligible individuals understand their healthcare benefit options.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Open Season events, health fairs, webinars, and outreach activities.
  • Provide accurate information about health plan benefits, coverage options, and available resources.
  • Greet attendees, answer general questions, and direct complex inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with event setup, materials distribution, and attendee engagement.
  • Document interactions, feedback, and follow-up needs.
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused service at all times.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of customer service, sales, outreach, healthcare support, or related experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and explain benefits information accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to travel throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia as needed.
  • Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends during Open Season.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with health insurance, benefits enrollment, Medicare, or member services.
  • Experience supporting events, community outreach, or sales/account management teams.
