Job Description:
7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with large scale, mission critical environments.
Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN,ACI.
Advanced proficiency in Python, including:
o REST API integrations
o Automation frameworks
o Unit testing
o YAML/JSON data modeling
Hands-on Ansible experience (roles, collections, Jinja2 templating, idempotent workflows).
Strong experience with Terraform for network and cloud Infrastructure as Code.
Packet capture/analysis tools for deep network troubleshooting.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for network automation (linting, testing, approvals, staged deployments).
Familiarity with Network as Code, GitOps workflows, and version-controlled change management.
Hands-on cloud networking experience across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
Experience with SD WAN, firewall platforms, and NAC technologies.
Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures.
5. Preferred Qualifications
Data Center Network Engineering experience with expert automation skills in a Top 10 Bank, Fortune 100, or global enterprise environment.
Technical certifications such as Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Arista, Juniper, DevNet, Cloud certifications, or Terraform Associate.
Experience with modern automation ecosystems: Nornir, NetBox, Nautobot, Batfish.
Proven experience developing internal automation frameworks, tools, or orchestration platforms.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Engineering, Operations, and Business Units.
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex multi-domain issues.
Experience with:
o Network assurance and telemetry platforms
o API-driven orchestration workflows
o Infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
o Cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP)
o Data center migrations and modernization initiatives
o WAN engineering & optimization
