Job description

Hourly Range: $29.00 - $35.00
**All Applicants must comply with ITAR requirements. US Citizens or Permanent Residents only.**
Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep plant property, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition. The incumbent diagnoses problems and works in many varied and diversified capacities required in general maintenance, overhaul, and repair of plant equipment, processes and facilities.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Interprets mechanical drawings, including Hydraulic and Electrical
  • Utilizes conventional and precision measuring instruments
  • Builds and/or modifies equipment in accordance to established specifications to meet specific project requirements
  • Repairs and/or modifies existing and new products in accordance with established specifications and procedures.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements
  • Must have own tools

Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of related mechanical experience
  • Three years of Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge in a job shop environment is preferred
