Key Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of experience administering enterprise web server environments.
  • Expert-level experience with:
    • Microsoft IIS
    • Apache HTTP Server
    • NGINX
  • Strong experience supporting large-scale production web farms and mission-critical applications.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SSL/TLS Certificate Management
    • Reverse Proxies & URL Rewriting
    • Load Balancing & High Availability Architectures
    • Web Server Performance Tuning & Capacity Planning
    • Security Hardening & Best Practices
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS
    • Windows Server & Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
    • Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, Kerberos
  • Experience with enterprise load balancers:
    • F5 BIG-IP
    • Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
    • HAProxy
  • Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, or similar.
