Job description

About the Role
Leads the successful implementation of web site releases for the brand. Works with the site manager, internal and external teams to ensure that all project releases are completed on time and meets the highest WSI quality standards. Responsible for site operations: planning and implementation; deliverables and change management. Works with site manager on special projects related to: operational improvements, site partnerships and comprehensive testing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation of project releases, interfacing with cross-functional teams, Creative, Merchandising, Information Systems and vendor Design and Tech teams to ensure on time and on budget completion of project releases
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors, partners, and internal department teams
  • Develop site strategic and tactical plans to improve site and internal testing of functionality and user acceptance
  • Author's functional specifications documents and customer call center site overview for each release
  • Acts as site operations manager and fills in for Williams-Sonoma.com site manager when necessary
  • Coordinate and administer ongoing testing for each project release and major site launches
  • Works on special assignments as needs

Criteria

  • BA in Arts or Science fields
  • One to two years' experience in project management role and/or eCommerce experience
  • Knowledge of website development processes and project management as a discipline
  • Internet, Catalog or Retail buying/Merchandising experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated ability to work with various teams
  • Proven business skills and demonstrated ability to understand technology, including database structures and site architectures
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Evening and weekend hours required
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $64,900 - $73,000  Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
