What to expect

As a Project Manager, you will be the primary advocate for both your clients and our teams to ensure project success. You will be the client facing lead responsible for overseeing multiple user-centric website design and development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the long term strategic goals of our clients. You will do so by creating and coordinating project plans, setting clear expectations, managing internal and external risk, and facilitating great collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Be the primary lead for multiple website design/development projects and managing them from concept to delivery within an established WDG process framework
  • Be the account lead on a limited number retainer-based clients and manage post-launch opportunities and optimizations within an established WDG process framework
  • Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Track and manage project tasks and milestones, ensuring satisfactory completion and a seamless experience for clients and internal team members
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, documents, and correspondence for client/stakeholder engagements and internal meetings
  • Ensure team members are well-prepared for all meetings
  • Manage iterative design, development, and quality assurance processes
  • Actively participate in user-centric business analysis and technical requirements documentation
  • Actively participate in quality assurance testing
  • Actively participate in resource management meetings
  • Actively participate in team and process optimizations and improvements
  • Proactively and transparently manage project risks both internally and with our clients
Requirements
  • At least 4 years experience as a Project Manager in an agency setting, preferably in the website development or digital marketing industry.
  • Strong familiarity of waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management processes
  • Expertise with standard project management tools (Confluence, Jira, or similar)
  • Strong familiarity with design, development, and testing processes
  • Strong familiarity with open-source content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.), as well as common marketing, member, and sales management platforms (SalesForce, HubSpot, NetForum, MailChimp, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prepare agendas, effectively lead meetings, track action items.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships and partnerships
  • Ability to remain calm, productive, and positive in a fast-paced agency environment
