Job description

Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a Web Developer - Senior to provide web, SharePoint, and portal support for SDDC G6 under the GITSS program. This position supports web-based portals and interfaces that provide office automation, collaboration, command information distribution, staffing tools, and information sharing across the SDDC community.
The Web Developer - Senior will support requirements analysis, development, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, user support, documentation, and compliance activities for SDDC web and SharePoint environments.
This position is located at HQ SDDC, Scott Air Force Base, IL.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Web Developer will:
  • Develop, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot SDDC web-based portals, interfaces, and collaboration tools.
  • Support SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, workflows, permissions, and related web functionality.
  • Gather user requirements and translate business or administrative process needs into web-based IT solutions.
  • Provide support for command information distribution, collaboration tools, staffing tools, and public/private information interfaces.
  • Maintain web content, site structure, navigation, user access, and operational functionality.
  • Coordinate with Government leads, cybersecurity staff, systems administrators, and customers to support secure web operations.
  • Support web application documentation, SOPs, technical guides, and configuration records.
  • Assist with STIG, ATO/C&A, cybersecurity, access control, records management, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate resolution with system, database, network, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Support testing, deployment, change management, and sustainment of web solutions.

Qualifications
Clearance Requirement:
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required Common Access Card (CAC), facility access, system access, and Government network access.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of web development, SharePoint development, portal administration, or web application support experience.
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal web environments preferred.
  • Experience developing or maintaining SharePoint-based collaboration tools and office automation solutions.
  • Experience supporting secure web applications, access controls, documentation, and production troubleshooting.

Technical Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, web content management, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Power Platform, workflows, permissions, and site administration.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, STIGs, RMF/ATO support, records management, and DoD web compliance requirements.
  • Ability to support web application sustainment across development, testing, deployment, and operations.

Certifications (Preferred):
  • DoD 8140 / 8570 certification as required by final labor category mapping.
  • Microsoft, SharePoint, Power Platform, Security+, ITIL, or equivalent certification preferred.

Skills:
  • Strong requirements analysis and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot web and SharePoint issues in a secure enterprise environment.
  • Strong documentation and change management discipline.
  • Ability to coordinate across web, system, database, cyber, and customer support teams.
