Job description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or (DA-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
