Job description

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This role is fully in office!
EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR PDP WEB MERCHANDISER:
  • Ensure items are available/unavailable, priced correctly, and displayed accurately
  • Enter new product content (images, descriptions & specifications)
  • Work with employees across all departments
  • Assist with any problems associated with web merchandise in conjunction with customer service
  • Work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
  • Answer sales questions about web products, prices, availability, & transfers
  • Recommend advertising opportunities based on web inventory levels
  • Make informed decisions on where to place web merchandise
  • Work closely with factory representatives to obtain product, collection & brand specific material to be used on the web
  • Download/upload photography to product pages
  • Attend weekly walk through to determine sales volume of merchandise on the floor (multiple locations)
  • Work closely with factory representatives to discuss sales
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts
  • Help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs
  • Use excellent customer relations
  • Any other duties as directed by management

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Indoor, temperature-controlled environment.
