Job description

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Web Systems Engineer, contingent upon award of the associated work. This position will be based in Charleston, SC.

The Senior Web Systems Engineer is responsible for analyzing, planning, designing, and documenting changes to web applications written in Java and operating within Linux or Windows server environments. The Senior Web Systems Engineer formulates or updates Business Information System (BIS) architectures and assists web software sustainment teams with implementation and testing of architectural changes supporting Marine Corps enterprise manpower systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and document changes to enterprise-scale Java-based web applications.
  • Formulate and update system and subsystem architectures.
  • Support engineering and sustainment of web and client/server Business Information Systems.
  • Architect, implement, and sustain custom-written single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
  • Support multiple Agile or Kanban software sustainment teams simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain logical design diagrams, data flow diagrams, and interface documentation.
  • Provide engineering guidance for system enhancements and emergent sustainment requirements.
  • Support engineering efforts aligned with MCAAP or other Risk Management Framework implementations.
  • Develop operational and system-level architecture views.

Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years engineering enterprise-scale web software applications.
  • 4+ years implementing and updating DoD pay and personnel business rule logic.
  • 4+ years engineering systems within MCAAP or other Risk Management Framework implementations.
  • Experience architecting, implementing, and sustaining custom-written single sign-on systems.
  • Ability to support multiple Agile or Kanban sustainment teams simultaneously.
  • Experience developing operational and system-level architecture views.

Minimum Certifications:

  • IAT Level II baseline certification required.
