A Web Hosting Manager oversees the operations and maintenance of web hosting services. Their responsibilities typically include managing servers and hosting infrastructure, ensuring uptime and security, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting clients with their hosting needs. They may also coordinate with IT teams to implement updates and scale resources as required. Web Hosting Managers play a crucial role in ensuring that websites run smoothly and securely.

Baltic Born

Job description

About Baltic Born
At Baltic Born, we believe every woman deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and empowered through every stage of life. Founded by three sisters, our brand celebrates sisterhood and the strength of womanhood through thoughtfully designed fashion. We serve women navigating various life stages-from young professionals and mothers to wedding guests and dinner hosts-designing pieces that elevate their everyday and special moments.
We foster a positive, uplifting work environment where creativity thrives, collaboration is valued, and growth is encouraged. From team lunches to fun events, we believe in celebrating our team regularly with monthly employee appreciation activities, and fuel your creativity with stocked snacks and drinks. We value your time and well-being by providing paid 30-minute lunch breaks and employees may enjoy our collections with an exclusive employee discount.
You'll work for a company that focuses on attainable luxury, extended sizing, and creating fashion that helps women feel their best at every stage of life.
About the role
The Marketing UX & Agency Specialist owns the day-to-day experience of balticborn.com and serves as the primary point of contact for our third-party web development agency. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and user experience: you'll project manage agency work, keep the site's navigation, banners, and layout aligned with sales and promotional calendars, and continuously look for ways to improve the customer journey. You'll also lend support on product listings and descriptions, ensuring every page reflects the Baltic Born brand voice and converts browsers into customers.
What you'll do
  • Serve as the primary liaison with our third-party web development agency - scoping requests, prioritizing tickets, tracking timelines, and holding the agency accountable to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Project manage web development initiatives end-to-end, from brief to QA to launch, coordinating with internal marketing, creative, and merchandising stakeholders.
  • Update site navigation, homepage banners, landing pages, and layout modules on a regular cadence to support sales events, seasonal campaigns, and promotions.
  • Own overall site UX - regularly audit the shopping experience (desktop and mobile) to identify friction points and recommend improvements to layout, navigation, and page flow.
  • Partner with the marketing team to translate campaign and promotional calendars into timely, accurate on-site merchandising and messaging.
  • Assist with writing and editing product listings and descriptions, ensuring accuracy, SEO best practices, and consistency with brand voice.
  • Monitor site performance post-launch (conversion, bounce rate, page speed) and flag issues to the agency or internal team as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the ecommerce platform's CMS to make routine updates independently, reserving agency time for larger development work.
  • Document processes and maintain a shared record of site changes, agency requests, and promotional updates.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, UX, or a related role - ideally within fashion, retail, or DTC brands.
  • Experience managing or coordinating with external agencies, developers, or vendors.
  • Working knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Shopify strongly preferred) and basic familiarity with HTML/CSS a plus.
  • A strong eye for design, layout, and user experience, with an instinct for what makes a page easy and enjoyable to shop.
  • Excellent project management skills - able to juggle multiple requests, set priorities, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Strong written communication skills for both agency briefs and customer-facing product copy.
  • Comfortable working with performance data (Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, or similar) to inform decisions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive - someone who takes ownership of the site experience without needing constant direction.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with A/B testing or conversion rate optimization tools.
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo or other email/SMS platforms as they relate to on-site promotions.
  • Background in copywriting or content merchandising for ecommerce.
