Job description

Position Summary: The producer, digital marketing supports digital marketing projects for the web, social platforms and/or email. In conjunction with the Web Developer team and other members of the Marketing team, produce digital communications that accurately reflect goals, objectives and identity of the organization in accordance with current technology standards and using the tools and framework in place within Unity.
Essential Job Functions:
  1. Content Management: Using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, MailChimp, etc.) to publish, update, and edit web content, ensuring it is accurate and properly formatted.
  2. Performing basic HTML/CSS editing, to produce web pages and web forms, troubleshooting broken links, creating and managing basic images and multimedia elements.
  3. Produce content for emails, marketing landing page, ecommerce product pages and other digital outlets, including formatting and reviewing content, inserting images and files, and entering metadata. layout/functionality.
  4. Assist with wireframes, overall navigation flow, and template creation.
  5. Follow digital best practices, such as for SEO, usability, layout, information architecture, styling, metadata, titles, text, and images and adhere to Unity branding guidelines.
  6. Assist with generating reports on web and email performance.
  7. Manage, organize and prioritize multiple jobs, ensuring all assigned projects are produced on time, accurately, and to specifications. Meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
  8. Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule - May work remotely as needed.
  9. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements including all safety guidelines
  10. Utilize electronic time management system to input time and attendance

Nonessential Job Functions:
  1. Use Google Analytics and SEO tools to improve site performance.
  2. Assist team members of the department on other projects, as needed.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a minimum of at least 8 years combined training and experience in media, publishing, social media, and/or web content creation.

Experience:
  1. Proven experience in web design and interface with overall knowledge of internet development and site maintenance.
  2. Must have experience with HTML5, CSS, responsive web design and practices, latest UI/UX practices, and working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery. PHP and web server knowledge a plus.
  3. Demonstrated experience creating web and application-specific assets.
  4. Experience developing on Drupal or equivalent CMS platform.
  5. Experience using Email marketing applications such as MailChimp, Active Campaign, Mandrill, etc. preferably including A/B testing.
  6. Experience coding email communications with table based/inline CSS layouts.
  7. Working knowledge of social media site design requirements and standards.

Computer and Software Skills: Advanced proficiency on both PC and Macintosh platforms, as well as cross-browser compatibility and integration. Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
