Job description

Job Summary:
VNSURE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a .NET Web Developer -II to work on a high-profile web application project in the Child Care and Child Welfare section of DCF. The role involves designing and developing both front-end and back-end components of web applications, with a focus on modernizing legacy systems to .NET MVC and C#.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application.
• Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC with C#, with SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle databases.
• Development of quality code using TDD, participation in active code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, technical documentation, and the ability to perform production support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Writing Custom SQL (6 years)
• .NET MVC with C# (6 years)
• Full stack development (6 years)
Preferred:
• Familiarity with automated testing methodologies
• GitLab or Jenkins or other continuous integration platforms
• Solid coding experience using TDD
• Knowledge of DCF programs
• Prior experience with the Wisconsin CARES system
• Familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards
• Familiarity with DCF Child Care applications
• DB2 Mainframe experience
• COBOL language
• Experience modernizing mainframe COBOL applications into .NET or other modern languages
• xPression experience
• iOS, Objective-C, and Swift experience
• Front-end web app UI design experience
• Front-end web frameworks including Angular, React, Vue.js, Alpine.js, Blazor Server, or similar
• Kendo UI experience
• Crystal Reports or Telerik Reports experience
• Familiarity with applications running in IIS
• Familiarity with PowerShell
• Experience with configuring CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps Artifacts
• Familiar with TFS/Azure DevOps
• Familiar with JIRA
• VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms
