Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Pay: $39.64 - $72.84 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
We are seeking an Application Developer with a highly motivated, team-centric work ethic. This person will primarily focus on the design, development, and delivery of custom applications for web and responsive web implementations for our patient portal and mobile application. As the Application Developer, you will be integral in helping to push the boundaries of technology within healthcare IT.
This is a remote position but you must reside in Colorado. Candidates will be considered for one of the following levels: Application Developer (3+ years of relevant experience, $39.64 - $59.46 / hour) or Application Developer Senior (5+ years of relevant experience, $48.56- $72.84 / hour).
Responsibilities:
  • Build ASP.NET CORE MVC applications that are responsive on both mobile devices (Android and iOS) and desktops, prioritizing mobile usability. Develop SPA pages for integration into the Patient Portal.
  • Develop solutions that integrate with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other 3rd party systems using web service APIs, FHIR, and other technologies
  • Elicit and analyze business processes and requirements from technical and non-technical teams. Reading between the lines of what the user is asking for, and what the user really wants.
  • Leverage Microsoft Azure tools for observability and monitoring
  • Develop and maintain in-house API layer used by the mobile application with REST based services.
  • Collaborates on application design, development, and maintenance to ensure that the quality and functionality of the end product meets customer requirements.
  • Translates design specifications into required applications using appropriate computer language(s).
  • Tests, loads, and troubleshoots code for new and existing applications.
  • Routinely analyzes application performance against industry developments to determine options for improvement.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:
  • Minimum of 3 years of development experience with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Day-to-day coding is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of JQuery, Typscript is a plus. Knowledge of modern frontend practices.
  • 1+ years of developing Responsive Design applications using ASP.NET Core MVC architecture
  • T-SQL and Entity Framework Core a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Proficiency with using REST (and SOAP) based services for working with data from 3rd party endpoints.
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting and debugging applications for correcting defects in the software using Microsoft Azure platform and Visual Studio.
