Job Summary:
Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) delivers high-impact, technical solutions to complex national security issues. They are seeking a Software Developer specializing in Web Development to lead the design and execution of a front-end development strategy for their Integrated Program Execution analytics platform, while also managing tasks and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and execution of a front‑end development strategy that supports SPA’s Integrated Program Execution (IPE) analytics platform.
• Manage this strategy by coordinating with functional area leads, overseeing schedules, engaging stakeholders, documenting and delegating tasks, mentoring junior developers, and conducting code reviews.
• Develop essential software modules, components, API integrations, and reports to advance the IPE initiative.
• Validate the system by creating and executing test plans, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure technical quality and suitability.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with React.
• 5+ years of experience in developing Web applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Web scripting languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• 3+ years of experience with Typescript.
• 3+ years of experience with MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience working with Git for Source Control Management.
• Able to work onsite in Alexandria, VA, up to full-time based upon client needs.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoW security clearance during the time of employment.
Preferred:
• 10 years of experience in developing software applications.
• 5+ years of experience mentoring junior developers.
• Experience developing Single-Page Applications.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Experience giving presentations to large groups.
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment.
• Active DoW Secret clearance.
