1 Knowledge Management Analyst Job Summary: Knowledge Management Analyst role is defined as a conscious, consistent, strategy implemented function to gather, store and retrieve knowledge and then help distribute that information and knowledge to those who need it in a timely manner. Responsibilities: * The candidate will gather requirements, perform analysis, provide recommendations, develop/implement solutions and associated processes, and integrate information of value from multiple sources into the operational environment.   *  The candidate will provide the technical expertise and theoretical capability to analyze, update, and execute SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries and other Situational Awareness tools with the goal of effective and efficient collaboration across the Directorate, staff, and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs) during steady-state, contingencies, and exercises. *  The candidate will provide daily support in evaluating and implementing overall Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) ensuring the best way to store and disseminate data, including SharePoint portal design,  site hierarchy, workflow development, permissions, site collection management, and usage; web interaction with other DoD agencies; and online collaboration inside and outside of the enterprise. *  The Knowledge Management Analyst (SharePoint) will interact daily with high-level leadership and regularly brief and train stakeholders. * Responsibilities: * Support the USSOUTHCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC) and J3 Directorate by providing the following on a daily basis during duty hours (and during non-duty hours in case of contingencies and exercises): * Design and development of web applications, webpages, and collaboration tools in support of operations. * Management of KM and Information Technology (IT) processes. * Manage portals and site collections within SharePoint, Intelink, and other DoD collaboration tools such as Strategic Knowledge Integration Web (SKIWEB), DCS, Chat rooms, Microsoft Teams and Office 365. * Management of information and data flow into Situational Awareness (SA) databases and portals * Assistance in collaboration tools for information flow and decision making, such as usage of Defense Collaboration Services (DCS), data aggregation dashboards, and Chat rooms. * Management of KM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and TTPs. * Create and staff policies and documentation for government approval. * Execute taskings at the Unclassified up to the TS/SCI level. * Requires a technical background to support daily handling of related software and computers including recommending computing best practices and acting as a liaison with other directorates such as J6, when required. * Support overall database management and information sharing. * Support the integration of Joint Command and Control (JC2) systems, applications, processes, and evolving technologies throughout the AOR to facilitate the Command and Control (C2) Joint Forces and the Joint Planning and Execution Community. * Support evolving DoD processes such as JC2 Common User Interface (JC2CUI), All Partners Access Network (APAN), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Mission Partner Environment (MPE) and data aggregation portals. * Coordinate efforts with DRUs, Service Components, JTFs, and defense agencies to ensure C2 operational requirements, shortfalls, and gaps are identified, recorded, and articulated supporting the decision-making process. * Provide KM training and support to exercises and contingencies. * Develop Concepts of Operations (CONOPS). Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelorโ€™s Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience. In lieu of degree, 4 years of directly related work experience can be substituted. * Must have Security+ certification or attain the certification within 3 months of hire. * Must have at least 2 years web development experience * Must have experience with Microsoft SharePoint (2013, 2016, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Designer) * Must have experience with web technologies such as HTML/XML/XSLT/.NET, Web 2.0 technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, jQuery * Experience with Federal Government, DoD, or military branch preferred, but not required * Must have general knowledge of using MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365 * Must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills as demonstrated in team building/team management and stakeholder management * Must have be U.S. Citizen Work Environment & Physical Demands: * General office environment with some bending and crouching; may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds * Up to 25% Travel Security Clearance: TS/SCI  required Location: Doral, FL (Miami, FL area)
